We can hardly believe it's already been a year since introducing our quarterly newsletter series, Her Money Matters! We hope these newsletters can continue to educate our community and instill confidence as you navigate important money and life decisions.

Finance in HarMONEY Event Recap

Our next episode of HerStory features our newest Herself member, Wealth Advisor Jenn Caruso. Jenn shares her journey from being raised by a single mother to her career in wealth management. She also discusses her path to becoming a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, stemming from her own divorce and desire to assist others in similar situations. Join Our Book Club!

Thank you so much to those of you who attended our first book club meeting and for adding so much to the discussion. It was filled with meaningful conversations around the power of education and knowledge.

Our second meeting will be held on Monday, April 8 at 3:00 PM (we will be meeting on the second Monday of each month). If you weren’t able to attend our first meeting, you’re still welcome to attend future meetings. We encourage you to join us in-person at our Morton office, but Zoom is available if necessary.We will be discussing “Part One” of Educated by Tara Westover, which consists of the first sixteen chapters, at our next meeting. Don’t forget to BYOB (bring your own book).We will be using a website called Slack to communicate with each other about things like upcoming meeting details, deciding on discussion questions and even sharing ideas on the next book to read.

Volunteer & Donation Opportunity with James Storehouse

We are proud to embark on our second year of partnership with James Storehouse. James Storehouse is a community-based nonprofit located in Newbury Park, CA, dedicated to supporting children in foster care, youth aging-out of foster care, the fostering families, as well as at-risk families.
